Portland is notorious for its rain. Averaging over 36 inches of annual rainfall per year, the City of Portland has mandated that all new and redevelopment projects with over 500 square feet of impervious surface must manage and treat stormwater on site.The 10th @ Hoyt courtyard was one such project developed under this law. Situated at the heart of the Pearl District, this courtyard is commendable not just for its stormwater treatment capabilities, but for its aesthetic design as well.
