The Town of Addison, Texas, is a high-density urban community north of Dallas. Sasaki's design for the 10-acre urban park is ideal for everyday use as well as festivals of over 10,000 people. A landmark for the region, the district attracts almost one million people each year, who, in turn, support the town's hotels, restaurants, and retail. The park is a creative and cost-effective approach to making a civic place that attracts people and events to the center of the community.
