The layout of the house -- actually our two apartments on different floors as one -- was partly predetermined, as several of the apartments were untranslatable.

Thus, two different wood qualities -- chestnut and fir (presented in different ways due to their different functions) -- speak to the clay stuccoes, a story of returning to nature, life and ancestral materials.

The gray area -- practical and easy to maintain -- refers to dolomite. The textile (wool) elements we find in each home environment soften the atmosphere and make it comfortable without any demands.

The doors are handmade to provide continuity and finish in each environment. The kitchen is part of life, built with the same few materials.
