ABOUT

The postcard view is exactly the presentation of the best view of the city. After all, not everyone can afford to travel the world, but it is quite possible to see the city in the movies, on the Internet or in other sources. New York is not a city without such views. But almost all the postcard views that we know about were laid down in the last century. 22th Bridge is a fresh brushstroke on the canvas of the main view of Manhattan.

Листівковий вид — це презентація найліпшого виду міста. Далеко не кожен може дозволити собі подорожувати світом, але побачити місто в кіно, інтернеті чи в інших джерелах цілком можливо. Нью-Йорк — не те місто, яке позбавлене таких видів. Але майже всі листівкові види, про які ми знаємо, закладені ще в минулому столітті. 22-й міст - свіжий мазок на полотні головного виду Манхеттена.

CONCEPT 

Manhattan is connected by 21 bridges with other areas of New York or New Jersey. Hence the name of the 22nd bridge, which, unlike the previous ones, has not a physical, but an emotional connection. He connects the city with its skyscrapers - the main hallmark of New York and emphasizes its verticality.

The observation deck is located at the bottom of Manhattan and is located towards the best views of the Upper New York Bay. Its predominantly circular shapes and cable-stayed designs are inspired by its immediate surroundings, including the retro-futuristic Ferry Station, Castle Clinton, park and Brooklyn Bridge.

Оглядовий майданчик знаходиться в нижній точці Мангеттена і розташований у бік найкращих видів на Верхню Зтоку Нью-Йорка . Його переважно циркульні форми і стрілоподібні вантові конструкції натхненні найближчим оточенням, серед якого ретрофутуристична паромна станція, Замок Клінтон, парк та Бруклінський міст.

The design of the project lasted more than a year and had many iterations. I am grateful to everyone who took part in the project, who supported and created a positive mood.
