The continuity of façades in Brussels' streets is intermittently interrupted by the perceived absence of one or more buildings.
Negative Space
is a visual exploration of this apparent emptiness - of the gaps between existing structures, which often frame interesting and unexpected geometric compositions, or disclose the more informal aspects of the urban fabric.

in esse
or
in posse
) often reveal their history, through traces of addition and subtraction, and offer an alternative understanding of how regulation shapes the city.
