About the Many Different Ways to

Geometric Abstraction

In this small series of photographs I want to portray the variety of methods

that I use to create an abstract feeling in my photographs.

At the heart of my approach is the freedom from objective

context, the interplay of colors, and of course the composition of geometric patterns.

As you will see, rotation

of a photograph is another powerful method to create an

abstract feeling.

The photographs were made in the cities of Berlin and Munich.
