"Spanish Quarters" is one of the most long-running projects in our studio. It started in 2017. There have been more than 250 other commercial renders completed during this period. The task includes regular updating of 3D-content in a parallel with beginning construction of new queues and buildings of the complex.

An important aspect of the task is an atmospheric demonstration of residential complex with notes of warm Spain. In our visualization projects, we tried to make an accent on the particular atmosphere, which corresponds to the architects’ ideas. Comfortable, high-quality, beautiful and modern residential complex within the boundaries of New Moscow.

NICE EVENINGSУютные вечера

We have repeatedly visited the place where the construction of residential complexes is taking place. We have been thereat different times of a day, year, and at different stages of construction. We are always pleased to see how accurately developer recreates architects’ ideas and revive a city from our visualizations. It is such a pleasant to walk and rest in the evening in a cozy restaurant or feed swans in a lake among well-maintained environment. This accuracy is doubly valuable, because our visualizations really help potential clients to imagine how their future home will look like.

Мы не раз приезжали на место, где происходит строительство жилых комплексов, в разное время года, суток, и на разной стадии строительства. Нам всегда приятно наблюдать, как точно девелопер воссоздает замысел архитекторов и передает нашу подачу. По благоустроенной среде приятно гулять, посидеть вечером в уютном ресторане или покормить лебедей в искусственных водоемах. Такая точность ценна вдвойне, поскольку наши проекты по визуализации действительно помогают увидеть потенциальным покупателям, как будет выглядеть их будущее жилье.

An important aspect of residential complex’s presentation is to demonstrate it in various weather conditions. Coziness should be felt at any time of a year. Based on our renderings, developer quite often corrects the inaccuracies of the environment, making it more functional. For example, it is easier to define how suitable are any particular small architectural forms by visualisations, predict seasonal activity, plan the placing of Christmas decoration.

It is not a secret that our team prefers mostly large-scale exterior tasks. However, sometimes we also work with interior projects. At the same time, we maintain all the principles of production large-scale projects and pay attention to all the details.

We really like the way of evolution of the development market over the past few years. It is especially noticeable in Moscow and its region. The level of urban environment in residential areas has reached quite a high level. Now it is competing with a quality of European buildings. There is a feeling, that developers were firstly obliged to create infrastructure for comfortable living, but over the time it turned into a kind of competitive challenge. It is especially noticeable to us as for 3D-visualization studio. The number and quality of unique small architectural forms, children’s and sports grounds, landscaping and infrastructure facilities such as schools and kindergartens in recent projects are really impressive.

Нам очень нравится, как развивается рынок девелопмента последние несколько лет. Особенно это заметно в Москве и ее области. Уровень городской среды жилых кварталов достиг очень высокого уровня, и вполне способен конкурировать по качеству с европейской застройкой. Складывается ощущение, что застройщиков сначала обязали создавать инфраструктуру для комфортного проживания, а со временем это превратилось в конкурентный челлендж. Нам это, как студии по 3д-визуализации, особенно заметно, поскольку количество и качество уникальных МАФов, детских и спортивных площадок, озеленения и инфраструктурных объектов в виде школ и детских садиков в последних проектах, прямо скажем, впечатляет.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT STAGES

2016-2021Этапы развития проекта 2016-2021

The scale of the main master plan has triples in last five years. It is very interesting to observe how the territory is overgrowing with new buildings. One person from the client’s management said "Are we really build all of this?" when he saw the general visualization from a bird’s eye view.

An important technical aspect when creating such scenes is an necessary to maintain the order within the scene during every new iteration and its constant optimization. Otherwise, it will lead to chaos. It is easy to lose control over the thousands objects, which firstly leads to visual errors, then to technical errors, and then it might continues up to the inability to render the scene at all.

За пять лет масштаб основного генплана вырос в три раза. Крайне интересно наблюдать как территория обрастает новой застройкой. Один человек из руководства клиента, когда увидел общий вид с высоты птичьего полета, так и сказал "Это что, все мы строим?"Важным техническим аспектом при создании таких сцен является необходимость сохранять порядок внутри сцены при каждой новой итерации и ее постоянная оптимизация. Иначе, это приводит к хаосу. Можно потерять контроль над тысячами объектов, что в результате приведет сначала к ошибкам визуальным, а затем и к техническим, вплоть до невозможности отрендерить сцену.PRODUCTIONПродакшен

To sum up, there are a few figures regarding the project:1. There were constantly involved 5 people during the whole project;

2. The project data folder weighs almost 2tb;

3. The number of internal folders and files are 2000 and 40000 respectively;

4. Overall scene with mega general plan includes almost 90 million polygons;

5. Software: 3ds max 2020, Corona render 5 hf2, Adobe photoshop;

6. Rendering of mega general plan in a resolution of 6000 pixels for 60 passes takes about 2.5 hours on a single machine (i9 7920x);

7. The scene is completely assembled by geometry, which allows to render close up views and animation.

Подводя итог, вот несколько цифр по проекту:1. На протяжении всей задачи было постоянно задействовано 5 человек;2. Папка с данным проектов весит почти 2Tb;3. Количество внутренних папок и файлов составляет 2000 и 40000 соответственно;4. Общая сцена с мегагенплом включает в себя почти 90 миллионов полигонов;

5. Используемый софт: 3ds max 2020, Corona render 5 hf2, Adobe photoshop;

6. Рендер мегагенплана в разрешении 6000 пикселей на 60 пасов занимает около 2.5 часов на одной машине (i9 7920x);7. Сцена собрана полностью геометрией, что позволяет считать ближние ракурсы и анимацию.
