Greece HELLAS: a place to be reborn 

Most of these images are from my ancestral home island of Ios, Cyclades. This rugged land is free of commercialism and is swathed in the intense beauty of the sun, sea, sky, and the earth.  It is a place I return to year after year to recharge. Its healing landscape is the balm for my soul.  I run creative arts workshops and retreats from here most summers. By bathing in its warm lap, the Cyclades become the baptismal font of my rejuvenation. Nothing but raw elemental nature. A place you can hear the finest stirrings of your soul. A place to hear the whisper of God.  For me it is the omphalos, the belly button and epicenter, the center point of creation.
