This is my project

Climatorium on the lake Tresnja

from my fourth year of faculty!

I tried to make a specific connection between interior and nature/exterior.

Short descrtiption:

Due to the specificity of the location, which is isolated, and, on the other hand, 40 minutes from the city center, the narrower purpose of the facility is defined in the form of climatorium that would have the function of educating young people about the atmosphere, climate and climate change.

The project envisages the use of space as a research station with the aim of performing experiments in the open air and, then, their analysis and exhibition within laboratories, classrooms and exhibition space of the volume itself. At the same time, the building is a kind of visitor center for all visitors, pedestrians and people who love nature.

In keeping with the theme, the design, composition and program stemmed from respect for the following items: sustainability, climate-friendly design, use of natural terrain characteristics, programmatic and physical stratification.

Therefore, the aim was to take advantage of the natural characteristics of the terrain that enable the creation of semi-buried levels; quality orientation in relation to the sides of the world and sunshine; leveling and program in accordance with the summer and winter solstice...

The inspiration for the project was obtained by following the work and approach of Philippe Rahm, who uses the method of forming a program according to temperature values.
