疫情之梦 · 遗忘与记忆的空间

From late March through the middle of August, I set out to document what my world specifically was experiencing. Looking back on these images nearly a year later, I can see common themes emerge from them; themes that I had not intended to focus on at the time, but that manifested themselves nonetheless. I did not focus on the anxiety or the chaos of those first few months, there was enough of that already. Instead, I focused on small details of life that were often forgotten; I felt the whole world had forgotten itself. I still feel like it is trying to remember itself to this day.

Spaces were empty, the sky was crying, and there was seemingly no end. There still isn't an end yet. 

We slept, we woke, we did not know what day it was. 

The days went on by.

We were unaware,
