"SÚPA"

Two artworks of the plants, animals and vegetable world were realised in the interior 

One sketch for exterior, the green foliage which was painted on the facade of the building.

Rakel Þórhallsdóttir and Örlygur Ólafsson - the owners of the cafe: 

"Russian artists Karina Eibatova drew this magical tropical forest for us &

Skiltamálun Reykjavikur painted it on the facade.  Inside, the tropical forest appears on tiles on the wall. 

The interiors are otherwise simple using the same philosophy as our food, 

when the ingredients are great it's best just to let them do the talking."
