Whyalla 铁矿小镇

Whyalla, on the red-earthed Eyre peninsular of South Australia, is home to iron ore deposits, processing plants and steelworks. These images were taken around the ore processing plant while on an advertising assignment for BIS Industries. The rusty coloured iron ore mill and the red ore-dust, that has stained its surroundings, dominate the landscape. It is both haunting and beautiful, an alien landscape that's hot and dry with stark, industrial architecture, and piles of red earth.
