Embracing the challenges posed by a thirty-five-foot topography change from the street to the rear of the site, a reverse living strategy was employed for this seven unit townhome building. The living level was relocated to the third floor where all units were connected by an elevated walkway.  To minimize site disturbance and reveal westerly views, the units step down the hillside with the existing topography.
