Project Year: 2020
Category:Apartmentss Private Houses
The current task of architects and planners is to create straight lined architecture – well thought-out, sustainable and with a high comfort standard.
In recent years, concrete as a material has worked its way from the outside to the interior. Concrete comes into its own in its natural and varied colour and structure. No need for plastering.
That is why we were particularly pleased to be able to play a major role in a residential project
by BGP Architects
on Lake Zurich
For almost all living areas – literally from the basement to the roof – dade design created individual furniture
from the largely natural material in the concrete factory in Altstätten in the Rhine Valley
CONCRETE AS A MATERIAL FOR KITCHEN, BATHROOM, WINE CELLAR AND GARDEN
The wine cellar forms the basis – precious bottles are stored particularly well here because concrete reacts very slowly to temperature fluctuations – so the wines can mature in peace. Some bedrooms have been fitted with an en-suite bathroom – here, too, concrete design plays a major role. Generous vanity tops and wash basins were implemented in Swiss-made manner by the dade team.
The kitchen is adorned with concrete wall and ceiling cladding. The owners also cook and eat on concrete: on the 5.5-meter-long seamless concrete countertop, merges into an impressive dining area.
The residents of the villa can also rely on concrete for a
BBQ
– a modern grill pavilion has been created in the outdoor area.
