An Ibizan Shangri-La in the midst of the traditional town of Gainesville, Florida, Solaria Luxury Apartments delivers the sophistication of Spanish Revival architecture to University of Florida students. With its exotic fusion of Spanish Colonial, California Mission, and Mediterranean architectural influences, this upscale apartment complex transports residents to the white sands and crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean coast with its exotic and alluring design. Developed by real estate and property management firm Trimark Properties in 2013, Solaria incorporates classic Spanish Revival features, such as extravagant tile work and asymmetrical composition, for an elegant and unique living experience.

At the first view of the complex’s simple, yet baroque exterior, the Spanish Eclectic influences are immediately noticeable due to the building’s white stucco walls and burnt-orange, low-pitched gable and hip terracotta roof. Cantilevered wrought iron balconies adorn the outside of the building, along with ornate, colorful tile accents. The building surrounds an inviting community courtyard area, complete with a stunning mosaic-tiled fountain and intricately designed fireplace. Wood work is left exposed, a staple of Spanish Revival design, while half round Roman arches are integrated throughout the building.

The exterior is harmonized with the lavish interior, which comprises of lush carpet throughout the spacious living rooms and master suite bedrooms, luxury spa bathrooms with embellished tilework and a full-sized bathtub, and gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, new appliances, and custom maple cabinetry. Certain upgraded units exhibit unique amenities such as built-in wine racks, art alcoves, and custom-tailored bookcases with glass shelving.
