Red Rock Lane House is developed starting from two cantilevered cubic volumes, separated by an external staircase that descends along the slope of the hill, using it to distribute on the upper level all the functional and living areas, while on the lower level there are partially covered or totally exposed relaxation areas that reach the infinity pool, which is the visual border towards the bay below. The interiors play on an almost radical choice of colors and materials: gray stone, cedar wood and white surfaces. As if to avoid elements that would distract the eye from the views that open up in every direction through the floor-to-ceiling windows. For the large kitchen island, the architect opted for the clean lines of the stainless steel kitchen collection, in particular the Ottavo series kitchen faucet designed by Danish designer Hans Thyge; a material in which all the Source series faucet units are also declined in the bathroom, an environment specifically articulated to be able to enjoy the outdoor perspectives even during a shower or a bath in the tub to which the free-standing faucet of the same Source series is matched. The project won a national Architectural Design Award in the New Residences category.
