The traditional 17th-century Paris Apartment is built of Lutetian limestone with a SLATE and lead roof. The line of dining-room and the curve of living area are juxtaposed. Separating the living and dining Spaces is the 1950s Stilnovo lamp, which has a lacquered aluminum shade and a zebra-skinned sleeping bed. The Windows are decorated in Dedar velvet.
Located in the chic sixth Arrondissement, this quintessentially French limestone building is small. With a private entrance, garden and an underground garage reached by lift, it offers the perfect blend of old and new. Salvagni noted that it must always be functional, but must also allow the owner to dream of his own. And designers are only part of the role... To create a sense of liberation from the ordinary. Salvagni thought that perhaps an ancestor painting should be incorporated into the scheme, so the studio decided to redesign it.
The couple wanted an elegant and soft-toned city apartment; When the light enters the room, it's a homage to their preferred Art Deco period. The location of Paris provided Salvagni with plenty of inspiration to arrange such pieces, pointing out the French "emotions" he used. Delicate grey furniture combines organic forms with precious materials such as mirrored glass common in traditional French homes by Jean Royere.
