Royal Evian 酒店翻新丨瑞士日内瓦

With an enviable position on Lake Geneva, the Hotel Royal Evian opened in 1909, housed in a belle epoque building that gives it the feel of a vast ocean liner. The hotel underwent a substantial renovation from 2013-2015, a collaboration between Francois Chatillon, chief architect of historical monuments in France, and interior designer Francois Champsaur.

This iconic destination has been brought up to date and now mixes contemporary luxury with opulent original features. Antique furniture has been restored, and new features include a Murano glass lighting installation by Emmanuel Babled in the Night Bar, and Carrara marble and oak paneling in the bathrooms. The sixth floor, which previously housed meeting rooms, now contains beautiful private suites with Alpine views.

The hotel required a complete overhaul of its 150 bedrooms, reception spaces, and technical areas, as well as its attic and roofing, in an architectural style compatible with the original work.In addition to the restoration of the hotel, the project included the creation of a set of conference rooms on the hillside beneath the terrace, as well as a new technical building beneath the carpark.
