Mexican-based design studio Macías Peredo seeks to start and practice from local traditions, not just from a single consideration of sound or architectural vision. They believe that in a world people live in, architecture no longer seems to be a brick and a brick, and people seem to be more accepting of the concept of architecture as a craft, while neat and perfect architecture is no longer acceptable, imperfect and manual labor. The walls of Casa Americana are stacked with bricks, which is also to comply with some local regulations. Macías Peredo Studio has always made good use of greenery in their designs, allowing the house to contrast in tones and add vitality to the space.

高大的墙体将住宅包围起来，在不阻挡光源的前提下保障了居住者的隐私性。可移动的玻璃门窗设计，既能将光线更好的引入室内，又能使住宅保证的良好通风，在对住宅起到保护作用同时，居住者可以根据个人的需要将其打开或者关闭。

The tall wall surrounds the house and ensures the privacy of the occupants without blocking the light source. The movable glass door and window design can not only introduce light into the room better, but also ensure good ventilation of the house.
