3Cube is a house for 11 families, all flats have the same size, the choice of an apartment can be tied to preferred point of the compass or the view from the windows, the location or color of the house: White, Gray, Red, Gloss, Cherry, Bordeaux, Anthracite, and Black piano it is not just a group of buildings, it is a cubic paradise for aesthetes, regardless of age or social status, where people converge in the vision of life and environmental requirements.

3Куб - дом для 11 семей, где нет дифференциации по площади, выбор квартиры может быть привязан к предпочтительным сторонам света или виду из окон, расположению или цвету дома: белый, серый, рыжий, глянец, вишневый, бордо, антрацит, и черный рояль - это не просто группа зданий, это кубический рай для эстетов независимо от возраста или социального положения, где люди сходятся в видении жизни и предъявляемым требованиям к окружающей среде.

People have been living in Cubes for 3 years already, during which time residents have formed communities on social networks, all issues are solved together. For us as architects, it was a challenge to become members of this community. We also became residents and joined the new society.

В Кубах живут уже 3 года, за это время жители сформировали сообщества в социальных сетях, все вопросы решаются сообща. Для нас как архитекторов стало вызовом стать членами этого сообщества. Мы также стали жителями и включились в новый социум.

It is important for us that the residents respect the space they have chosen. There are many non-standard solutions for our culture have been applied: transparent fences at cottages, concrete walls, windows to the floor, the absence of balconies and much more. It was important for us to find solutions that would minimize possible subsequent transformations in the appearance of buildings. Instead, we laid maximum flexibility inside the residential units.

Для нас важно, что жители уважают то пространство, которое они выбрали. Здесь было применено много нестандартных для нашей культуры решений: прозрачные заборы у коттеджей, бетонные стенки, окна в пол, отсутствие балконов и многое другое. В силу отсутствия регламентирующих форм влияния на изменения в облике домов и улиц со стороны жителей, для нас было важно найти решения, которые бы минимизировали возможные последующие трансформации во внешнем облике зданий.

Every apartment is like a small house, square in plan with windows to two sides of the world. There are so many windows that you can make any convenient layout, even a wardrobe can be with a window. All windows have a french balcony, we deliberately abandoned the full balconies, firstly, because the houses are not in the city, but in the countryside.

Взамен мы заложили максимальную гибкость внутри жилых единиц. Каждая квартира – это маленький дом, квадратный в плане с окнами на две стороны света. Окон так много, что можно сделать любую удобную планировку, даже гардероб может быть с окном. Все окна имеют французский балкон, мы сознательно отказались от полноценных балконов, во-первых, потому что дома находятся не в городе, а в сельской местности.

This is an additional incentive to leave the house and walk around. Secondly, since in Russia over the past 20 years, the tradition to glaze and attach all protruding volumes to the warm contour, which also introduces changes in appearance that often worsen the building's appearance, the option of simply opening the window seems optimal to us.

Это дополнительный стимул выходить из дома и гулять по округе. Во-вторых, так как в России сложилась за последние 20 лет традиция стеклить и присоединять к теплому контуру все выступающие объемы, что привносит в том числе и изменения внешнего вида, часто ухудшающие облик здания, вариант возможности просто открыть окно нам кажется оптимальным.
