Eadry Royal Garden Hotel Haikou, born with its unique temperament, gladly sheds the overflowing Southeast Asia style or the more simplistic Mediterranean style and stands proudly displaying its own unique heritage. It is a beloved child of the traditional Chinese Royal Courtyard. The symmetrical complex of buildings, arranged strictly about its central axis, showcases the garden as the centre piece while emphasizing the formal arrangement of solid and void. Purely by its existence, a fresh and elegant artistic passion is infused in Hotels in the Hainan Province. It gives one the impression that these gardens and habitable spaces are always meant to be here on this charming island from inception, from which manifests a peaceful world of blue sky and clear water.

该四星级度假酒店舒适地坐落在雄伟的高山中，它为众多的冬季滑雪者和夏季登山者来度假休闲提供了一个极其便利的基地。首层主入口和接待大厅位于中心，滑雪小屋风格的建筑则从三侧包围着。看起来像是餐厅和滑雪酒吧、水疗中心、室内游泳池、宴会及会议设施包裹着山的底部。

当今中国最具影响力的室内设计师之一刘红蕾，率领毕路德的室内设计团队，为这背靠长白山，占地432,000平方呎的酒店打造室内设计，刘红蕾表示：“考虑到相邻的积雪覆盖的山坡，在各角度都能尽览风光，低调的酒店室内设计专注于利用其极其优异的自然风光优势并以奢侈的方式呈现，为客户提供难忘的体验。朴实无华的室内配色方案灵感来自于山本身及周边戏剧性的景观，企图达到室内外的平衡及和谐。它融合了今日的现代旅客所要求的先进的休闲体验：舒适，温馨，亲切，亲密和安全等情感。”

The four star resort hotel sits comfortably nestled at the very base of the majestic mountain making it an extremely convenient base for the multitude of winter time skiers and summer time mountain trekkers that congregate for leisure. The ski chalet style architecture is laid out as a three pronged arrangement with the ground floor Main Entrance and Reception Lobby block at the center flanked on three sides, seemingly wrapping around the base of the mountain, by the Restaurant and Ski Bar, Spa and indoor Swimming Pool and the Banquet and Conference facilities.

Considering the adjacent snow covered slopes of the mountain, the spectacular views on offer on all sides, abundant penetrating sunshine and the lush green surroundings, the understated interior design of the hotel focuses on taking advantage of the immense natural beauty on offer by creating an experience in luxury that will be memorable for the user. The unpretentious colour scheme used for the interior was inspired by the mountain itself and the surrounding dramatic landscape and is an attempt to reach a balanced harmony between the exterior and the interior. It fuses the comfortable, cozy, homely, intimate and safe sentiment with that of the sophisticated leisure experience demanded by today’s modern traveler.

在雅兰，推开窗可以迎接海风，关上窗可以享受整个海的心情。阳光、山林、沙滩、海浪……踩着沙滩，听涛、看日落，蓝色海风中飘逸的是休闲乐趣和自由憧憬。

雅兰酒店改造设计集纳天然语汇，汲取大自然最纯粹的元素，用原始的张力，以无限新奇的创意融入空间，让人们的心灵靠岸，体验真正的海岸式度假生活。设计师通过自然调制的油彩，将海洋世界的印象和性格挥洒了出来。礁石的硬朗、沙滩的柔软、海底的宁静、水波的涌动、生物的灵性、浪花的跃动……一切美好的意象都通过简单的线条和优雅的颜色被勾勒出来。这些被抽象了的自然凝固为 360度的空间体验，让人禁不住在酒店空间中端详、体会、呼吸、感觉、思考。

时间每分每秒的流失，潮涨汐落，海洋给予的自由与优雅却百分之百的留在了雅兰。

In Airland, when you open the window, you are caressed by sea breeze; when you close the window, you can feel the whole sea by your heart. Sunshine, mountains, beaches, sea waves and so on, walking on the beach, listening to the wind whistling in pine trees, watching sunset, what is flying in the sea wind are leisure fun and the longing for freedom.

Airland Hotel’s renovation design collects a pool of vocabularies about great nature, from which deriving the purist elements, fills the space with immense creativity, providing a harboring place for heart, to experience the real sea coast holiday life. Designers use natural paint to draw the impression and personality of sea world. The roughness of rock, the softness of beach, the tranquility of seabed, the surging of sea waves, the sprits of animals…all the beautiful images are sketched by simple lines and elegant colors. These abstracted 360 degree spatial experiences make you could not stop examining, understanding, breathing, felling, and thinking in the hotel space.

Time flies every second, tides go up and fall again, but all the freedom and elegance of the sea stay with Airland.

空间的灵感来自于长白山初春绽放的绿意，盎然生机顷刻间让人精神焕发，获取这一大自然的力量使得空间通透轻盈，便是设计的初衷。

长白山初春景色与宜必思品牌色交融，成为流动在整个空间的点睛用色，在将户外景色完美延伸至酒店内部的同时，也形成了长白山宜必思尚品酒店自然活泼、时尚有趣的色彩性格。酒店选用木色为主的深色家居，令稳重质朴的气息传达至整个空间，活泼生动不失大方雅趣。

在保持其连锁酒店风格的界定上，无论是大堂抛物线形层叠的天花，会议室绿意渐变的地毯，还是餐厅中央的地灯、透视感的屏风等装饰小品，都融入了轻快、动感的感情基调。而大堂与大堂吧的会谈区、餐厅用餐区的开放性空间设计，更巧妙模糊掉了商务功能区带来的严肃压抑的弊端。卧室的暖色光线则为度假的身心送去了恰到好处的舒适美感。

The inspiration for the interior space of the hotel comes from the green blooms during early spring in the Changbai Mountain area. The promise of vigorous new growth creates a freshness that never fails to lift our spirits. The design intention is to enhance the interaction between man and nature by light and transparent space allowing the power of nature to play a dominant role in the experience of space.

The Ibis brand color reflects this crisp and unspoiled landscape of Changbai Mountain in the early Spring and is used to highlight and provide a finishing touch that connects inside and outside.

Ibis is a modern, contemporary and fashionable hotel. This doesn’t mean that the space should feel cold and unfriendly. On the contrary, warm woods and tones are used through the hotel to enrich each space and give them an elegant, comfortable and dignified feel.

While keeping the manner and standards of the hotel brand, all the design elements and decorative pieces from the parabolic lobby ceiling, and the shading pattern on the green carpet in meeting rooms, to the floor lamps and screens in the center of restaurant, carry a sense of transparency and are fused with a lively and dynamic mood.  The open space design of the social area in the lobby, lobby bar and dining areas invite social gathering and interaction for both families and business travelers.  Guestroom comfort and aesthetics are enhanced by the use of warm lighting and soft tones which create and reflect a cozy feel at the end of the day’s holiday activities.

不仅将普洱山水风景与梅子湖少数民族的习俗特色融合衍化为酒店别致的民族设计调性，更将湖、岛、温泉度假性能中渗透的东方“禅修”飘逸之境在整体空间内神奇复现，终成一幅藏于世俗人间的“仙境山水”。

The ethnic characteristics in the hotel design have been reflected in a wonderful blend of Pu’er landscape views and local customs as well as features from minority groups in Meizi Lake. Meanwhile, the ethereal ambience from the oriental “Zen meditation”, penetrated in the Lake, Island, Hot Spring and resort hotel, is also miraculously recurrent in the overall space. A picture of “marvelous landscape in wonderland” is finally unveiled.

本项目处于一个较为平坦的山谷之中，充分考虑了建筑高度与两侧山体的关系，建筑体量顺应河流又消隐于大地，成为了两个山体的延续与过渡。建筑成为自然地势的一部分。在强调酒店建筑体量的整体性的同时，通过材料的细微变化去适应周边环境的四季色彩，而文化性元素只在近人尺度上加以体现。酒店的公共空间被集中放置通过中庭联为一体。文化元素在空间的植入，强化了空间的戏剧性。

Located on a relatively level part of the Jiuzhai valley, the Shengjing Resort, with its two angular forms, undulate like two snakes along the valley floor. The resort, large in scale when compared to its surroundings, required us to adopt this approach to the massing. By folding the building into smaller segments, we were able to reduce the massing thus giving the hotel more compatible proportions. The angled forms also provide varying vistas from within each guest room. To unite these two forms, we introduced a glazed atrium as the resort’s main focal point. Cues from local styles for the elevations give the hotel an instant local connection. Collectively, the modern form coupled with traditional touches gives the resort a contemporary feel with traditional sensibility.

项目用地位于中国历史上最早被皇家钦定为观音道场的广德寺，酒店的设计灵感正是源于拜塔礼佛。依山而建，顺势而生的建筑形态宛如一座横卧于山坡上的佛塔，沿酒店表面的禅径拾级而上的过程，即演绎成为蹬塔礼佛修身养性的过程。酒店融入自然之中，与对岸的广德寺遥相辉映，成为参禅礼佛过后修身养性的最佳场所。

建筑充分体现了隐于山林，自然本位的禅宗思想，让自然成为悟道的媒介，审美更趋向于禅的空寂与明快。从公共空间到私密空间，从休闲空间到会议空间，从客房到庭院，建筑注重的是人与自然的和谐，强调的是在环境中自我的体会，修身和顿悟。

The site is located across the river from the Guangde Temple, the first Song Dynasty appointed Guanyin “Bodhimanda”. (A Bodhimanda, according to Buddhism, is spiritually pure and conducive for meditation). This belief coupled with the temple’s close proximity became inspirations for the hotel. A harmonious existence between Man and Nature is an essential principle of Zen Buddhism.

One complements the other. Our design responds to this ideal by blending our hotel with the existing surroundings. The shape of the hotel is an abstraction of a Buddhist pagoda. Receding planes with landscaped roofs ensure the massing stays low to the ground. The driveway represents a “Zen Road” or a “journey of self-cultivation” meanders up to the top of the hotel where the lobby is located. An awe inspiring unobstructed view of Guangde Temple awaits guests as the journey ends.

建筑形态由梅州客家文化要素演变而成半开放的建筑群组，在吸纳了传统文化内涵的同时，外观更具时尚现代的气息。建筑充分利用了依山地势，形成伏于山体，与山统一的建筑特色。内部形成阶梯状架构，外表则呈不规则三角锥体，玻璃罩墙为立面，真正做到了自然现代。

The plan of the main hotel is a contemporary re-interpretation of the traditional Hakka communal house, the Tulou, a style native to southern China. The uniquely shaped nearby hills is responsible for its massing. Both ensure the hotel’s full integration into its existing surrounding. Internally, each floor recesses from one level up to the next. Sheets of cascading glass form the exterior cladding to protect the hotel from the elements. Guestrooms are grouped into clusters ensuring greater efficiency and lower operating costs.

Independent villas are also featured enabling guests to enjoy the outdoors in their own privacy.
