前海石景观岛坐落于整个前海区规划的入海口，两边连接城市未来核心区，有着极其有利和重要的位置。如何利用前海石景观岛独特的地理和文化特征，为市民提供一个生态，可持续，现代而且具有中国特色的开放交流平台，让人们从繁忙疲惫的城市生活中暂时抽离，得到内心的平静，是这个设计的主要切入点。

此方案用一条主要的的纵向游览流线，和两条横向流线，将石景观岛划分为’滨水平台’、’前海石广场’、’四季林地’、’室外剧院’、’观景甲板’、’天然茶室’、’秘密花园’几个景观节点。结构高效轻盈的步行桥，将小岛和两岸联通，也成为整个景观规划的一个重要部分。为最小化对场地自然片段的缺失，景观的大部分构筑物均被抬高，以减少对植被的破坏。用最少的材料提供最丰富的空间。

Qianhai stone landscape island lies in the estuaries, where the planned river flows into the sea, and it connects both sides of city’s future CBD. The design intent is to free people temporarily from busy and crowed daily life by providing ecological, peaceful green space with the advantage of the island’s unique geographical and cultural feature.

A main longitudinal circulation line defines seven space node together with two other lateral visiting circulation lines. The seven space nodes are named as “Waterfront Deck”, “Stone Plaza”, “Four Season Woodland”, “Outdoor Theater”, “Observation Deck “,”Natural Flavor Tea House” and “Secret Garden”.

To minimize the disturbance of nature on the site, most of the built structures are raised in order to reduce the damage to existing vegetation. The light weight pedestrian bridge also takes an important role in the whole landscape structure by connecting the bunds with an efficient structure.

Waterfront Deck: To meet people’s desire to get close to water. Taking into account the level change in the tides, it provides people with multi decks in different elevations.

滨水平台：满足人们对水亲近的欲望。考虑到潮汐的变化，为人们提供不同标高的滨水平台

前海石广场：围绕具有纪念意义的前海石，通过渐变的铺地机理，将广成空间限定出来。为市民提供一个聚会和休闲的平台。

四季林地：丰富的植被布置，使林地在不同季节都有独特的的观赏景观。

室外剧院：简洁的舞台和台阶的设置，提供了一个临时的舞台设施，成为市民展示才艺的空间。

观景甲板：身处于茂密的芦苇中，使人们有着一种置身世外的错觉，内心的疲惫得到缓解。

天然茶室：简洁又富有中国特色的构筑物，丰富了整景观空间，也成为整个流线的高潮部分。室内与室外的概念被模糊。轻盈的结构既继承了中国古建对结构的重视，有反映了时代特点。

秘密花园：作为茶室与围墙的半围合空间，提供了一个较私密的空间，种类繁多的花卉和灌木成为城市的后花园，为亲子活动提供了场所。

Stone Plaza: The commemorative stone and the gradient paving system define a plaza for public activities.

Four Season Woodland: Different types of vegetation provides various views as season changes.

Outdoor Theatre: Simple stage and steps provide a temporary show place for the public.

Observation Deck: Surrounded by the reed, detached from the civilized world, people’s tired heart will be eased.

Natural Flavor Tea House: Simple and with Chinese characteristics, the tea house enriched the whole landscape space, becoming the climax of the entire flow line. The separation of Indoor and outdoor space has been blurred. Lightweight structure not only inherits the ancient Chinese emphasis on structure in a building, but also reflects modern technics.

Secret Garden: Enclosed by the tea house and short walls, the intimate space providing a venue for family activities, with a wide variety of flowers and shrubs, which becomes the garden of the city.
