阿联酋阿布扎比 Rossano Ferretti 发廊

The Abu Dhabi Rossano Ferretti ‘Hairspa’ is the second branch in the UAE, and the latest of over 20 salons worldwide. Each one is designed to maintain a look & feel that is consistent with the upscale Italian brand whilst also reflecting the culture of the geographical location. Led by Creative Director Carla Conte, the Brand Creative team interpreted the brief to develop a visual identity for the Abu Dhabi salon that was distinguishable from the newly developed Dubai branch whilst developing an aesthetic that would also be in keeping with the sophisticated, multicultural UAE demographic.

The villa location was previously a residential building that required extensive renovation to transform the space into a fully operational salon with two hair salon spaces, multiple beauty treatment rooms and a café for clients with an outdoor terrace. For the façade, Brand Creative proposed a design that would transform the exterior from the traditional stonework that is typical within the neighbourhood, to a bold look featuring contemporary wooden tiles and protruding copper components.

Rossano Ferretti interiors are renowned for a contemporary, monochromatic aesthetic that embodies their sophisticated brand identity. The interior designers at Brand Creative approached the Abu Dhabi concept by incorporating areas of high contrast, combining classic black marquina & white volakas marble with complimenting finishes such as black slate, illuminated stone and chrome. Each feature was selected to contribute to the dramatic ambience, layering black on white and white on white throughout.

Materials were specified that would maintain a luxurious finish, staying true to the signature visual identity whilst being sensitive to salon-specific operational and practicality requirements. Marbles were coated with finishes that would add anti-slip qualities and create impenetrable working surfaces, whilst woods were lacquered with “diamond top coats” to create non-marking, easy-wipe areas.

The newly added conservatory in the nail spa and plenty of new floor to ceiling windows infuse the space with natural light, for a fresh ambiance throughout the ground floor. Grey, linear Panda White marble was added in an offset installation to capitalise on the light and incorporate texture that was unique to the Abu Dhabi villa salon. Rossano Ferretti Abu Dhabi has been well received since opening, living up to the global reputation of the brand and earning a loyal local customer base. The interior design is the latest in the Brand Creative repertoire, making a distinguished mark in Rossano Ferretti’s international portfolio of branches.
