Michigan 百年老厂房变身为现代手工威士忌酒坊，历史与未来交融

Built in the late 1800’s, the Featherbone Factory has long been a historic icon in the charming small town of Three Oaks, Michigan. Housing such attractions as popular antique stores, wine shops and the Acorn Theater, it quickly became an ideal home for a new organic, hand-crafted whiskey distillery and tasting room whose namesake is meant to pay homage to the areas nomadic past.

The existing history of the building became a natural backdrop to a very simple yet modern renovation for multiple distillery functions such as private tasting rooms, event space and the distilling production floor itself that house distilling equipment fabricated in Germany. The use of existing concrete and wood factory floors, salvaged materials from the area and refined millwork, the distillery design is an intriguing contrast between past and present.
