Casa N is a contemporary house located in Floridia, Italy, designed in 2022 by Giuseppe Merendino.

Description

The “Panels” that make up the front of the building are equipped with a very complex mechanism customized to allow large surfaces, these are portions of the facade of the size of about 20 square meters and weighing about 5,000 kg, to slide vertically, revealing the functions behind: Entrance to the garage rather than access to the commercial area.

The building presents an extremely closed street front, renouncing any relationship with the city and privileging the relationships with the inside of the lot, where the domestic functions are carried out, large openings and aerial connection devices distribute and facilitate the relationships both in the living and in the sleeping area.
