Global Risk Partners were looking to consolidate three of their sites into one of their existing buildings as part of their ongoing real estate strategy. GRP is one of the largest insurance intermediaries in the UK, and wanted to promote cohesion across the group by bringing their five brands together under one roof in a collaborative work environment.
With design concepts that were developed by an external workplace consultant, we detailed and built a scheme that unites teams while enabling them to retain their independent brand identities.
The insurance broker’s new workspace is designed to make an impact. Upon entering, employees and visitors are greeted with a striking front of house meeting suite complimented by sculptural forms and warm, backlit, timber panelling.
The centralised meeting suites and breakout areas deliver a strong, inbound architectural statement which also cleverly allows the external fenestration to be given to staff in an effort to maximise the natural light across the working floor.
GRP’s new workplace is an amalgamation of their brand identities, with thoughtful design details such as bold paint colours used to visually separate the different desk neighbourhoods. A balance of private offices, meeting rooms and open plan meeting spaces gives employees a choice of where and how they work and supports GRP’s move away from cellular working.
Equipped with a dynamic and versatile workspace, GRP are embracing agile working and promoting interaction between all experience groups; solidifying their new working model and transforming the future of their business.
