SpareBank 1 Nord Norge is Northern Norways biggest savings bank and serves as the main bank for the people as well as the businesses in Northern Norway.

fra Innersida has been counseling in development of new strategies for how the bank is going to welcome their customers to their new locations. We have developed the project closely with the employees, customers and the local communities.

We have organized the space in two main zones, an open space for customers and a closed zone for employees.

The colour scheme is inspired by the Northern Norwegian colors and light in the transition between the light and the dark season. It was important to make the color scheme warm and welcoming since the Northern Norwegian climate can be quite harsh with long, cold and dark winters.

The furniture selection is based on good ergonomic function as well as an eastethic that supports the idea of Northern Norwegian hospitality.
