The project is located in Daoming Bamboo Village, Chongzhou, Sichuan, where is named as "Intangible Cultural Heritage Town of Chinese Bamboo-weaving ". The design is inspired by the appearance of bamboo shoots breaking through the ground in Daoming Bamboo Village. Relatively, the spirit of bamboo shoots growing upward is also the spirit that the visitor center wants to convey. In combination with the shape and spirit of traditional bamboo weaving of Bamboo Village, the characteristics of slope roof from western Sichuan architecture and the blue roofing tiles are also important design elements. In addition, in order to represent the idea of "Born from bamboo, raise from bamboo, prospered for bamboo", the design not only combines bamboo furniture and decorative products with the interior space, but also uses bamboo & wood composite boards, agglutinative bamboo structure. Gradually, the brand new commercial mode based on bamboo-weaving theme has already created a harmonious relationship between the project and the site even further surrounding villages or villagers. Traditional elements combined with the living needs of the new era and design methods has created a bamboo art space with bamboo as the soul.
