Located at 110D1 Tran Huy Lieu, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. This is a project that was called EMM’s Urban Coffee.

We all know that designing a coffee shop isn't just about making people feel good, but also giving a double-shot boost to your brand. The challenge for the design team is make the brand we work for target the right audience.

Our architects and designers are always pushing to see something creative, or playing with materials and finishes in a way that have not yet explored. This time, the impression given by the design is that exposing raw construction materials such as old brick walls, concrete surfaces, columns. This solution is not only cost effective, but also meet the requirements in terms of unique rustic style.

As soon as you walk in the door, the long bar counter is what catches your eyes at first sight. It offers lots of space for product demonstrations and for welcoming customers. Open layouts make the space itself feel airy and larger, create private areas for guests. Its interior is simple but it stands out through the use of LED lights in the ceilings that completely change the atmosphere.

Manipulating the warm and cool colors correctly creates high contrast between the wall and furnitures to great effect. Besides that, we use indoor plants, small interior décor items and artworks to create modern and contemporary design style.

By combining all those designs in one project, we created the look and feel of an industrial design for EMM's Urban Coffee. The moment you take a seat you’ll be craning your neck to check out the unique of the design.
