Sant'Angelo Luxury Resort is set in the enchanting rocky scenery of Sassi di Matera. The hotel has been built by wisely applying conservative interventions to a series of house-caves, buildings, stairs, alleys, patios, in an uncommon way called “Albergo Diffuso”. The architect Stefano Tardito managed to convey trendy and elegant features to these accommodations, in a new, non-conventional, eco chic style. Grigolite mosquito nets become a natural, elegant and stylish feature of the “cave houses”.
