In the Middle Age, in Japan , the "Basara" were a group of samurai that did not conform to the customs and traditions of society. The BASARA brand is inspired by this philosophy of independence and strength. The first venue opened in 2011 in Via Tortona, in the heart of Milan, as a "modular restaurant" to satisfay the gastronomic needs of every moment of the day. Simple, but innovative design solutions make it different in every time, lunch, happy hour or dinner, considerably changing the image of the restaurant, thanks to a sophisticated home automation system. The second restaurant was born in 2014 in Corso Italia, a new take away and delivery service throughout Milan.
With the same solution of the previous restaurants, in 2015 BASARA opens also in Venice, very close to San Marco and in 2017 makes its entrance into the Costa Smeralda panorama on the Promenade du Port in Porto Cervo. In 2018 Basara keeps growing thanks to the idea of a Japanese sushi and cooking academy, hosting some of the best teachers of the field. An opportunity for anyone who wants to realize his dream work and for those who simply want to approach the old art of sushi. The new venue opened in Milan in 2018, in Via Washington, offers an innovative Kaiten system and a traditional Zen garden.
