The place where the nature of the Veluwe enters the city....

The World Food Center is developing into a new bustling district of Ede. A place that revolves around food. The rich military history is prominent. An inspiring place where you can live, work and experience in a relaxed way.

For a hundred years this beautiful place on the edge of the Veluwe was closed to the public. In 2020 the gates of the former barracks area Maurits Zuid are permanently open and the area attracts residents, innovative food companies, food lovers and walkers. The design of these special terrace apartments was made by MIX architecture.

Nature and architecture are connected step by step into a harmonious whole.Many mouse clicks further we arrive at a result in which the houses merge into the landscape.
