The project for this house in the port of Messina has been conceived starting from the owners’ need to give a new image and a new character to the couple’s home without disrupting the spaces of the house, renovated a few years earlier.
A series of micro interventions have been studied, which involved all the environments: from the bathrooms throughout the living area to the terrace.
The two bathrooms of the house have been redesigned and connected through a large shower that can be enjoyed from both bathrooms through a pivot door in white glass.
The coverings are characterized by a single basic material and differentiated from each other through the choice of Sicilian Cementine tiles with different decorations: a more geometric model for him and a more decorative one for her.
In the winter garden the only non-glass wall has been completely redesigned with enamel painting and the insertion of a fixed wooden furniture, conceived as a sheet that detaches itself from the bottom surface, folds and hollows out, creating niches for sculptures, travel items, and the large TV.
