The brief for this short term rental apartment was maximum functionality.

The centrepiece of the apartment is the revolving elm veneered circular bed – a moving object which turns the spacious drawing room into a sumptuous bedroom and back in seconds. The cloakroom conceived as a giant drawer and the perfect symbiosis of the kitchen cabinetry and the dining table are two more design ideas worth pointing out.

The apartment is grand, airy and simple at the same time while remaining true to its original early 20th-century character.
