The project proposes the construction of a complex for small and medium enterprise (PME Park), with an expressive architecture taking maximum advantage of the site, basing the design on a simple and therefore economical modular construction.
The architects sought to maximize the flexibility, modularity, and compactness of the building, avoiding a monotonous architecture. The aim was to provide maximum natural light and give great importance to landscape integration, while creating a unique identity for the 17 units with different colored tiles to avoid a repetitive building.
The building is accessible by all four facades, which are designed to give each one an equal importance. Both volumes have been carved to create peripheral patios that allow for better natural light and vegetation, while also redefining the spaces.
A strong consideration was placed on the roofs to provide ventilation and natural lighting, developing a maximum surface green roof and the option of adding solar panels for future users. The chosen solution is a flat roof topped by triangular skylights oriented NE and NW, arranged to provide natural light to the heart of the building, a solution that is also the most economical.
