With the continuing evolution of Galactika Mall, we are undertaking an extension to the development that will increase its size and retail space by an additional 80% due to the demand and success of the original development.

Galactika Mall provides a canvas for the people of Kogalym to meet, communicate and spend time together. A true community destination, it attracts visitors not only from Kogalym but also from the surrounding areas of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

Since the opening of Galactika Mall in 2016, it was clear that the number of visitors exceeded expectations and new areas for national large format brands and retailers were required. The extension of the mall adds additional retail space (including a retail corridor), new food court, X-fit gym, office space, new carparks, and a stage area for city events and functions.

An important aspect of the extensions was to retain the architecture of Galactika Mall, whilst addressing the requirements of the new retail outlets. We have successfully achieved this mix of form and function, including extending the existing mall without interruption to its operations.
