H House is located in the Alajuela, Costa Rica in a gated community called Hacienda Espinal. The open land, on a plane terrain and with a west facing view.

The distribution of the blocks in the main floor created interstitial spaces, configuring circulation, terraces and the space for the living room and pool. This latter, enveloped by a skin of glass with sliding panels open and create a dialogue between the internal and external garden. The slab of the roof, the same size as the slab on the floor, create the private area with three bedrooms, the natural light, the views and wood doors generate a unique atmosphere upstairs.

H House project favoured the spatial continuity between inside and outside, the precise use of natural and raw materials. 

The living room has complete visual permeability with the outside through sliding glass doors. The doors can be opened according to the climactic needs and a hand-rail – also in glass – gives security to the residents without creating any obstacle or interference in the internal/external relation. On this floor, the kitchen, a wash-room and the vertical circulation complete the program. On the second floor of the bedrooms, there are wooden brises-Soleil that filter the external light, creating a good sensation and comfort even on the hotter days.
