This project located in Hamptons, Long Island, USA, has 225m² and was renovated by Rodney Lawrence. With an informal and fun, "whimsical" style, the guest house, designed to comfortably accommodate the family, is attached to the main house of a couple with young children during the summer. During the renovation it was necessary to modernize the layout to organize the functions and, at the same time, create wider environments, which meant redoing several walls.

The idea was to maintain an updated look for a traditional beach house that was clear, for this reason, most of the walls were painted in an off-white tone, in addition to light furniture. In the children's room, the playful tone is due to a printed mural based on the children's book “Where the wild things are”. The room is inspired by the representation of stars from the ceiling of Grand Central Station, NY, performed by the Faust Brothers.

In the corridor, a stained glass skylight has great historical value, as it is made with Tiffany glass, a brand that is appreciated by the residents. The master bedroom window was a joint effort between the office, the client and a Pennsylvania craftsman. The basic design was done by the office and then adapted to the lenses found on the market. The metallic lead structure follows the stained glass tradition of the old European churches.
