Work done while at Wolfe Architectural Group
Garco Construction and Wolfe Architectural Group teamed to Design/Build this new Legacy Landing Fueling and Convenience Store. The 5,000 SF upscale convenience store and rest stop serves the surrounding community and the casino patrons while evoking the Kalispel Tribe’s rich culture. The use of steel, wood and stone on the exterior and interior of the facility compliments the neighboring resort and casino. The overall design resulted in separate drive-up window services (coffee shop & café and tobacco) and an open retail floor plan for easy space management. The café is designed to be a relaxing semi-private space with the ability to open up to an outdoor patio with views of the casino and the surrounding plains to the north.
The Chevron-branded facility has five pump islands with 20 pumps total, each featuring a high-definition television where the resort and casino promotes upcoming events as well as the convenient store specials. The facilities are located on a 4.5 acre site just south of Northern Quest Resort & Casino and are surrounded by green space, native species plants and fauna. Blending the traditions of the Kalispel Tribe and the nearby resort and casino resulted in a functional and unique design that is unlike any other convenience store in the region.
