This design embodies the idea of a modern take on sloping roofs. A veranda is incorporated into the design which blurs the line between exterior and interior of the house.

The natural light coming in plays a major role in defining the aura of the house. The skin of the house is perforated by narrow longitudinal apertures on walls and skylights on the ceiling allow light in such a manner so as to visually connect all the interior spaces together.

The concrete finish on the exterior, to give a modern outlook, is in beautiful contrast with the interior where natural materials like wood, marble and stone are used.

The skylights are deliberately placed over the circulation area to give an openness to the design.
