(Corbusier, 1931, p.46)
The house consists of three geometric solids differentiated by color and function understood as "building blocks". Towards East was created a parallelepipedic volume in white, corresponding to the volume of the rooms, the private areas. This volume presents a diagonal to the northeast that dematerializes the mass of the building, amplifying the reception sensation, directing the entrance.
At the opposite end to the white block we find a vertical ocher blade that delimits to the northwest, the social space of the house organized in hierarchical and functional sequence: garage; kitchen / laundry; and finally, living / dining room.At the southwest end of the house, the blade becomes a wall and encompasses the barbecue.
On these two volumes, in distinct colors, lands a triangular prism that draws the roof, reinforced by the red color of Plasma tile. This choise of roof allows in the longitudinal development of the villa, the existance a mezzanine, intended for office.
The abstract reading of the pure volumes, through processes of addition and subtraction, allied to the use of color contributes to the plasticity of the dwelling that refers to the Neoplasticist imaginary. These large volumes are subsequently dematerialized by other smaller volumes, in gray and ocher color contributing to the set as simultaneously autonomous elements but encompassed in the composition.
At the level of interior distribution, to each volume corresponds a set of specific functions, also marked through pavement. The intention was to explore the interior / exterior relationship through large glazing in specific moments that channel the views, being possible, after entering the dwelling, a visual crossing towards the depth of the terrain.
It was intended a compact housing for economic and functional reasons, predominantly earthy, with a simple structural metric taking advantage of the pure expression of materials (painted plaster, plasma tile), seeking to do more with less.It is understood as fundamental at the tectonic level the Greek Phronesis with a view towards economy in the construction.
