在现代“⽣产”⽆所不在的社会中,⽣活本身展示为许多景象的堆积,散乱的事物按其“在场”状态排列其中。“家具”作为我们最熟悉的事物之⼀,在我们的身边随着时间演绎着空间⾥的故事,在⾃⾜的形象世界中,进⾏着⾮⽣命之物的⾃发运动。确切的说,它经历时间后变的更加真实,并在物质上转化为⼼理介质反映出⼈们的⽂化⽣活,诉说它⾃身的语⾔。
解释学提醒我们,“部分组成社会领域的那些主体总是都嵌⼊历史传统中。”然⽽⼈类是历史的⼀部分,⽽不仅仅是它的观察者或旁观者,新经验事物与被感知的传统经验事物会不断迭代相互联系。
In a modern society where‘production’ is ubiquitous, life itself is displayed as a stack of many scenes, and scattered things are arranged according to their ‘presence’ state. ‘furniture’ as one of the things we are most familiar with, interprets the stories in the space over time by our side, and in the self-sufficient image world, the spontaneous movement of non-living things is carried out. To be precise, it becomes more real after time, and is transformed into a psychological medium to reflect people’s cultural life and speak its own language. Hermeneutics reminds us that some of the subjects that make up the social sphere are always embedded in historical traditions. However, human beings are part of history, not just its observers or bystanders. Newly experienced things and the perceived traditional experiences are constantly interrelated with each other.

如今高速发展的城市景观与现代化景象,让它再也无法探寻旧时光的角落。于是驻足于仁喜街,听老人家诉说着过去的时光。

It was rescued in the waters of Sri Lanka. The crew took it back to the land city market. In thirty years, the rusty legs have not gone far.

质变
Qualitative change
马克思在《路易·波拿巴的雾月十八日》一文中要求人们注意,在社会迅速变革时期,人类总会“请出过去”以便自己对过去的延续充满信心,过去不仅是我们现在和未来吸收新经验的基础,也是我们理解人类自身的基石。
新材料艺术家叶帆运用新材料——太空软胶,通过喷注工艺附着在旧家具上,让传统旧家具的价值重新被审视,借由新材料使旧家具从单纯的功能性存在,向多维度空间与价值进行探索,在新科技有意识的理性干预中承载了制作之初完全无法想象的意义,离开原来的历史现实(或地域空间)而刺入当下,同现实世界中的线性历史相对,当眼睛看出来(阅读出来)时,完成由故到新的有机转化(质变)。

我们正经历着深刻的集体转变,那些陪我们生活过的“家具”澄清自己在时间中的模样,我们经历制造它们的年代,也将经历重塑它们的时代。这次展览力图呼吁大家有意识地摆脱思考和行动的习惯性方式,参与到对艺术化生活的建构中来,我们也将会继续寻找这些被时间和情感赋予想象力的“旧家具”,根据其自身真实的愿望,连通艺术生活与现实融合的新存在方式。创造即汲取,创作即获救,塑造即昭示。通过“它”进入新的认识,在我们瞥见、聆听、触摸、交互的过程中呈现自身,亲身体验瞬时片刻,既超越时间又驻留于此刻。
Nowadays we are undergoing a profound collective transformation. The ‘furnitures’ that accompany our lives clarify their appearance in the time. We have experienced the age of making them, and we will also experience the age of reshaping them. This exhibition appeal to everyone for consciously get rid of the habitual way of thinking and acting, and participate in the construction of artistic life. We will also continue to look for these ‘old furniture’ that are endowed with imagination by time and emotion. According to its true desire, use a new way of existence that connects artistic life and reality. To create is to acquire, to create is to be rescued, and to shape is to show. We enter a new understanding through ‘it’, present ourselves in the process of glimpsing, listening, touching, and interacting, experiencing a momentary moment in person, not only transcending time but also staying in this moment.
