FOGO is a gastro-lounge concept restaurant located on the top floor of a non-descript historical building along the prominent shopping boulevard of East Nanjing Road, in Shanghai.

在上海著名的南京东路购物大道上，藏在一幢不起眼的历史建筑顶层的FOGO，延续了Gastro Lounge小酒馆的概念

Mood and Functional Lighting

The lighting goal was to produce a moody, the relaxed atmosphere, the effort incorporating the necessary lighting techniques suitable for dining. The ideal balance between mood and functional lighting, darkness and brightness, played an important role in the interaction between the diners and the interiors .

餐厅位于外滩附近，在这里，上海的天际线和外滩的传统建筑一览无余。现代的设计融合了“火”的主题，使抽象的艺术装置和灯光效果令人想起火山形式和熔岩。这里的氛围反映了欧洲美食的风格，它的灵感来源于大发现时代的“香料路线”。

Reception With  a Soft Glow

Within the main reception, lighting was limited to highlight the logo service counter and the wood slated wall behind it. This allows the diners to adjust their eyes as they enter from the brightly-lit lift cars and into the moodier ambience of the restaurant.

从主接待处入内，仅是加亮服务台Logo及后面的木墙面，当食客从灯光明亮的电梯厢进入氛围浓郁的餐厅时，能够及时适应。

Warm Lighting Was Used For A Cozy Ambience

To produce the feel of intimacy in the late evenings, every light fixture is warm-dimmed. The warmer colour-temperature light produced when dimmed aids in creating a cosy ambient, whereas a bright and lively atmosphere is produced when the lights are turned up for day-time use. Up-lighting in an orange glow above the bar creates an impression of warmth and fire, further emphasizing the concept of the restaurant design. In the dining space, the use of over-sized, pebble-shaped pendants fills the entire length of the interior, is a playful take on the form of lava stones found in volcanic regions. Lighting from these pendants are also warm-dimmed. Strategically placed spot-light fixtures were discreetly clustered in groups of 2 above every table; all deep-set and carefully veiled from producing unpleasant glare.

为了在晚间营造出亲密的感觉，灯具皆是暖色调的。当光线变暗时，暖光烘托出舒适的氛围；而在白天使用时，打开灯光又增添了明亮活泼的气氛。吧台上方的橙色灯光营造出温暖和热情的感觉，进一步强调了餐厅设计的理念。在用餐区，超大尺寸的鹅卵石状的吊灯填充整个空间，犹如在火山区发现的熔岩石般有趣。这些吊灯散出的光线也融进暖色调中。隐藏在每张桌子上方的精心布置的聚光灯巧妙地分为两组；所有的聚光灯都布置得很深，并小心地遮住，以免产生令人不适的眩光

ll lighting is controlled by a control system that allows multiple scenes set-up through the use of wall mounted touch panel and mobile devices via the manufacturer's software.

所有照明均由一个控制系统控制，可以通过在壁挂式触摸屏和移动设备上通过开发的软件设置多种场景模式。
