Dear, LYCS Architecture is ten years old.

“咦，零壹已经有十年这么久了吗？！”

"Huh, has it been as long as ten years?！"

嗨，十年树木，百年建筑，十年，算啥？这不，我们 2 岁时候中的标“杭州之角”还没盖完呢……

Hey, it takes 10 years to grow trees and 100 years for buildings. For the matter of architecture, 10 years is just a snap of the fingers. You know, “Corner of Hangzhou”is still under construction……

感谢大家一路以来的陪伴，在我们开始第二个十年的探索之际，回顾 2021，零壹城市想把这十件事与你分享。

Thank you for your company along the way, and as we are heading for our second decade of exploration, we look back on 2021 and would like to share the following ten things with you.

01地标竞赛，一举夺魁

Landmark Competition with a Clean Sweep

如果你关注国内建筑动态，想必对衢州二字并不陌生。这座山城正在城市升级，脱胎换骨，衢江西岸的现代化新城——智慧新城已初具雏形。

年初，在围绕新城重要地标——衢州智慧新城综合体的设计竞赛中，我们的设计方案“连绵山水”一举夺魁。

If you follow architectural developments, you will be definitely no stranger to the word “Quzhou”. This beautiful mountainous city is undergoing a deep and thorough transformation, with a modern new town on the west bank of the Qu River, that is, Quzhou Smart Town, starting to take shape. At the beginning of the year, the design competition for the Quzhou Smart Town Complex, which is a key landmark of the town, was won by the proposal called “Rolling Hillscape” from us.

“连绵山水”采用低层高密度的设计手法，连续起伏的坡顶创造出延绵的山景意向，与环绕城市的万水千山遥相呼应，展现出衢州生态山水的城市气质，被市委书记称为：将建筑轻轻的放在自然中。

The “Rolling Hillscape” adopts a low-rise, high-density design approach. It uses a continuous undulating sloping roof to unify the architectural form, creating the aesthetic image of a continuous mountain landscape and echoing the mountains and rivers that surround the city. In this way, it reveals the urban temperament of Quzhou’s ecological landscape, which has been described by its municipal party secretary as “placing the building in nature gently”. (左右滑动 swipe)

2021 年 3 月项目破土动工，经过一年如火如荼的施工，目前“连绵山水”已“显山露水”，预计 2023 年竣工。

The project broke ground in March 2021, and after a year of vigorous construction, the project has now been revealed and become visible, and is expected to be completed in 2023.

02 上海首座“碳中和”办公总部

the First “Carbon-Neutral”Headquarters in Shanghai

中国是目前世界第一碳排放大国，我国提出的“2030 年碳达峰，2060 年碳中和”彰显了大国的担当。

作为温室气体排放大户，建筑业应当率先行动起来，机智如我们甚至“抢跑”了！

2018 年完工的上海宝业中心按照绿色三星标准设计，是美国 LEED Gold 认证项目，于 2021 年 6 月被中国质量认证中心认定为“碳中和”装配式绿色智慧总部大楼，为上海首座。

China is currently the world’s largest carbon emitter, and its proposal to “reach the peak of carbon emission by 2030 and become carbon neutral by 2060” clearly demonstrates the commitment and responsibility of a great nation. As a major emitter of greenhouse gases, the construction industry should take the lead, and LYCS has even been responsible and insightful enough to start the work. The Shanghai Baoye Centre, completed in 2018, was certified as a "carbon neutral" project by the China Quality Certification Centre in June 2021, making it the first assembled green and intelligent headquarters building in Shanghai to be certified as "carbon neutral".

绿色与低碳建筑是我们重要的设计领域，2021 年，我们交付的"未来之家"的设计将实现独立住宅的近零能耗，同期进行中的中国建筑节能研究检测中心更是在产业角度助力了国家“碳中和”。

The green and low-carbon building is a significant design field for LYCS, and in 2021 We delivered the “Baoye Future Home” designed to achieve near-zero energy consumption in stand-alone houses, while China Energy Conservation Research and Testing Centre under construction at the same time was helping to make the country “carbon neutral” from an industrial perspective.

03总部竣工潮，滚滚而来

A Wave of Headquarters Completion is to Rollin

2022 年，将有 10 个由我们设计的上市公司及大型集团总部竣工，所以今年也就成为了我们在施工现场呆的最多的一年。

In 2022, ten headquarters of listed companies and large conglomerates designed by LYCS Architecture will be completed, making it the year we spend the most time on construction sites.

在每一次量身定制的办公总部设计的背后，都有着我们深入一线解决实际问题的不断投入，用心守护这十大金刚的茁壮成长。

Behind every tailor-made office headquarters design, LYCS Architecture are constantly involved in solving practical problems on the front line, and committed to the growth of these ten core projects.（左右滑动 swipe）

04烟波系列，初露峥嵘

KINCANG Egrets Waves Series Gives theFirst Glimpse

2021 年，是一个很多地产人不想回首的年份，很多设计公司选择退场，而我们却选择逆行。因为我们认为地产行业跑马圈地的浮躁年代已经过去，未来精耕细作的居住建筑大有可为。

这其中最为引入瞩目的，是我们通过建筑室内软装一体化设计，研发打造的"烟波"系列的三个高端住区。首作烟波飞鹭，如今已初露峥嵘。

2021 is a year that many real estate professionals do not want to look back on. Many design companies choose to exit the field, while LYCS Architecture choose to go bravely against the grain. This is because we believe that the frenetic era of the real estate industry is over and that the future of finely crafted residential architecture has much potential. The most notable of these are the three high-end residences of the KINCANG Egrets Waves series, which we have developed with the integration of architecture, interior and FF&E design. The first of these has gave its first glimpse.

项目位于黄酒之乡——绍兴柯桥，总建筑面积 25.7 万平方米。设计灵感取自萧绍运河上翩跹的白鹭，采用流线为项目造型语言。

The project is located in Keqiao District, Shaoxing, the home of yellow wine, with a total gross floor area of 257,000 square metres. This design is inspired by the beautiful and elegant fluttering egrets on the Xiaoshao Canal, and adopts the streamlined shape as the project’s styling language.

经过一年多的努力，2021 年底，烟波系住区产品陆续落地，收获了业界的认可，期待 2022 年有更多更好的居住产品面世。

After more than a year of orderly construction, at the end of 2021, the KINCANG Egrets Waves residential area has taken shape, and the residential products of the Egrets Waves series created in this way have been completed one after another, gaining comprehensive recognition from the architectural industry. 05 城市更新，由点成线 UrbanRenewal From Point to Line

“做城市更新最有力的设计革新者”是我们第一个十年的愿景，对高密度城市的狂热一直刻在我们的基因中。

从 001 号项目我们的第一个办公室“仓库+办公”开始，城市更新便是零壹城市持续关注的主题。

“To be the most powerful design innovator in urban renewal” is the vision of LYCS Architecture in its first decade, and the great passion for high-density cities has always been engraved in its DNA. From its first office “Warehouse + Office” in Project 001, urban renewal has been a constant theme of LYCS Architecture.

杭州化纤厂旧址改造 Renovation of Hangzhou Old Chemical Fiber Factory

2021 年，我们设计的多个城市更新项目逐一落地并呈现给大众，杭州蓝孔雀化纤厂旧址凋敝多年后迎来涅槃新生，绍兴鉴湖湖畔的中式仿古建筑聚落中诞生了新物种“度假式办公”，千年古街临海紫阳街上的早餐店摇身一变为网红新文创江南赞……

In 2021, a number of urban renewal projects designed by LYCS Architecture have been completed and presented to the public one by one, including the renovation of Hangzhou old chemical fiber factory with a history of more than fifty years, Suzhou Iris Art Realm, Shaoxing Keqiao KINCANG Business School and Taizhou Linhai Jiang Nan ZAN Store. （左右滑动 swipe）

06 室内设计作品斩获多项国际大奖

Winning International Awards for Interior Design

2021 年 11 月初，我们斩获了代表世界范围内当代设计领域最优秀的作品的 2021 Blueprint Awards 蓝图设计奖。同期，事务所入选 AD100 - 2021 中国最具影响力 100 位建筑、室内设计精英。

这是继 2017、2019 之后的再次入选，并且首次由室内设计成就获得，为我们的室内团队鼓掌。

除此之外，我们的室内设计作品还获得了 2021 A&D Trophy awards、2021 Best of Year、2021 纽约设计大奖等国际知名奖项。

At the beginning of November 2021, LYCS Architecture were awarded the 2021 Blueprint Awards, one of the most world famous awards in architectural design. In the same period, LYCS Architecture was selected as one of the AD100 - 2021 China’s 100 most influential architectural and interior design elites. It was selected for the third time after 2017 and 2019, but for the first time due to its Interior design achievement. The interior design team deserves the applause. In addition to this, LYCS interior design work has won several internationally renowned awards.

提起零壹城市，大家更多知道的是我们的建筑作品。其实早在 2013 年，带着提高项目完成度的使命，室内设计线就已经开始建立：站在建筑的延长线上，将设计理念延续到使用者身边，室内设计团队是众多建筑作品的幕后功臣。

近年来，我们的室内设计团队渐渐开始从幕后走向台前，独当一面，城市更新的多个项目就是由室内团队主导设计。

LYCS Architecture is usually known for its architectural work. In fact, as early as 2013, the interior design line was established with the aim of improving project completion: standing on the extension of the building, continuing the design concept to the users, and playing the significant role behind the scenes of many architectural works. In recent years, its interior design team has gradually started to move from the backstage to the front, taking the lead on a number of urban renewal projects.

07零壹城市 “市民”破百

The number of LYCSers exceeds 100

2021 年，零壹城市团队规模继续壮大，迎来了第 100 位 LYCSer，建筑、室内、软装团队和新组建的神秘部门各司其职，协同作战，从“特种部队”晋级“正规军”，提供更具创新性和专业度的设计服务。

In 2021, The scale of LYCS team continues to grow, welcoming the 100th LYCSer. The architecture, interior, FF&E teams and the newly established mysterious department play their respective roles and fight together, upgrading from "special forces" to "official army" to provide more innovative and professional design services.

08威尼斯双年展，虽迟但到

La Biennale Architettura: Delay but Finally Came

新冠疫情改变了太多事情，东京奥运会延迟一年，威尼斯建筑双年展也是。这个原定于 2020 年举办的、全球建筑与室内设计届最重量级的展览，在今年 8 月份终于成功开展。自 2014，2016 之后，我们的作品第 3 次受邀参展。

The Covid-19 Epidemic has changed too many things. The Tokyo Olympics were delayed by a year, as was La Biennale Architettura, one of the most internationally celebrated and significant exhibitions in the field of architecture and interior design. Originally scheduled for 2020, it finally arrived in August 2021. For the third time since 2014, the work from LYCS Architecture has been invited to exhibit.

本届威尼斯双年展的主题是“我们如何共同生活”，中国国家馆策展人张利以“院儿——从最大到最小”为主题进行回应。我们的设计作品《小城故事多——杭州未来科技城海曙学校》以“小尺度院落”的概念向受众展现了教育类建筑中的孩子们的“院儿”。The theme of 2021 Venice Biennale was “how do we live together“, and Zhang Li, the curator of the Pavilion of P. R. China, responded with the theme “Courtyards: From the Largest to the Smallest”. Our design work “Town Story: Hangzhou Haishu School of Future Sci-Tech City” uses the concept of “the small-scale courtyard” to show the audience the “courtyard” of children in educational buildings.09 LYCSers，乘风破浪

LYCSers Bravedthe Winds and Waves

2021 年 9 月，在阳光正好的中秋前夕，LYCSer 们驱车前往千岛湖，参加零壹城市盛大的十岁生日趴。周年庆晚宴，来哥演唱会，红总的电影处女作，皮划艇，卡丁车，蹦蹦床，那个周末成为了 LYCSer 今年最嗨的回忆。

In September 2021, on the eve of Mid-Autumn Festival, which was a sunny day, LYCSers drove to Qiandao Lake to attend the grand 10th birthday party of LYCS Architecture.

With a dinner party, a concert by Bro Lai, Manager Hong’s film debut, kayaking, go-karting and trampolining, that weekend became one of the most exciting memories of the year for LYCSers.

Where is LYCS Architecture going in the next decade?

欲知未来往哪去，先要明白我们从哪里来，2021 年，零壹城市携手有方空间、Wallpaper 卷宗、搜建筑、全球知识雷锋等多家知名媒体，通过对谈、交流、探店等多种形式，从合伙人到设计师的整个设计团队，大家一起梳理过去展望未来。以媒体为镜，再一次去认识过去的十年我们是谁，思考未来的十年我们将成为谁。

To know where is the future, we must first understand where we have come from. In 2021, LYCS Architecture joined hands with a number of well-known media. Through its various forms of conversation, exchange, and office visits, the entire design team, from partners to designers, sorted out and reflected on the past, and looked into the future. Using the media as a mirror, LYCS Architecture will once again get to know who it was in the past decade and who it will be in the next decade.

我们喜欢的建筑应该像天台二小那样，将跑道搬上屋顶、治愈城市；像每日互动（个推）总部一样解决使用者的实际问题；像未来科技城海曙学校一样不再是冷漠沉闷的灰色。

我们的设计要让人转角遇到快乐和惊喜，建筑应该有快乐的自由。

这是零壹城市为第二个十年提出的 Manifesto，未来十年我们就往那儿走！

The buildings LYCS Architecture likes should be like Tian Tai No. 2 Primary School, which brings the running track to the roof and heals the city, and Ge Tui Headquarters which solves the practical problems of its users. It should also be like Hangzhou Haishu School of Future Sci-Tech City which no longer adopts the cold and dull grey color. The design by LYCS Architecture is devoted to allowing people to encounter joy and surprise around the corner. LYCS Architecture believes that architecture should have the freedom to be happy. This is the manifesto of LYCS Architecture for its second decade, and that’s where it is heading for in the next decade!
