Delicate Light

一切的开始往往始于光

光应该洒落在哪里？

影子应该投射在哪里？

It all starts with light

Where should the light shine?

Where should the shadow be projected?

物体的状态应是黯然、是沉寂，或是熠熠其表，编织华美。当你走进我们设计过的空间中，这一切既有了无言的答案.

The condition of object should be sad and silent.

Or bright and beautiful.

When you walk into the space we designed, all this has a silent answer.

从建筑的角度来看

形体的转折、光影的变幻

皆是一种巧妙的雕琢

From an architectural point of view

The turning of shape, the change of light and shadow

It’s all a kind of ingenious thinking

从哲学的角度来看

事物发现自我，达到自我

皆是一种自然的幻化

From a philosophical point of view

Things find themselves, realize themselves

Is a natural development

建筑学作为一种实用艺术，首先是通过合理的功能，而达到其最优品质的。Architecture as a practical art，The first thing is through reasonable functions，And then reach its best quality。

其次是空间的表现形式。

对光线变换的重塑。

对气流交换的重组。

The second is the form of expression of space.

Reshape light and shadow.

Reorganized airflow.

空间表达最高境界

即是我们追求的“场所精神”

The highest level of spatial expression Is the "spirit of place" we pursue

“场所精神”可诠释为一个人记忆的物体化和空间化，也是城市学家所谓的“SENSE OF PLACE”，亦被我们解释为——“对一个地方的认同感和归属感”。

"spirit of place" can be interpreted as

The reappearance of a person’s memory.

It is also what urban scientists call "SENSEOFPLACE",

Was also explained by us as--

"The sense of identity and belonging to a place".
