理念 /
The concept
V10按时间顺序将过去50年中每一年塑料污染增加量,以粒子的形式捕捉并投射在按纪年表顺序排列的玻璃片装置中。
“云浮颗粒之舞”这一项目,旨在唤起公众对于塑料材料的使用及后期处理的关注。
其中,塑料产品在某些医药,科学及设计领域中带来的创新已然凸显。
滥用和浪费塑料制品正危害着我们的生态系统,尤其是我们的水生态。塑料微粒是塑料经过处理或自然分解后产生的极微小的碎片。而在今天,海洋中的大多数塑料污染实际上都是由塑料微粒造成的。
根据《国家地理》杂志的研究,解决此问题的唯一可行方法是从源头上防止塑料废料进入河流和海洋。这可以通过改进升级废料管理和回收利用系统,并通过更多设计考虑及产品设计优化来减少不必要的一次性塑料生产。
V10 captures microplastics inside a chronological array of glass slides displaying the increase of plastic pollution in the last 50 years.
“Plastic is beautiful” aims to promote a more caring approach towards materials and wastage.
Plastic has brought innovation in medicine, science and design.
It’s the misuse and waste of plastic that is endangering our ecosystems and particularly our waters. Microplastics are
extremely small pieces of plastic debris resulting from the disposal and breakdown of plastics. Today most of the plastic pollution in the oceans is in fact microplastic.
According to National Geographic the only possible solution to this problem is to prevent plastic waste from entering rivers and seas in the first place. This could be accomplished with improved waste management systems and recycling, better product design that takes into account the short life of disposable packaging, and reduction in manufacturing of unnecessary single-use plastics.

The design
V10的方案经由国家地理杂志赞助的‘塑料纪念碑’竞赛为载体而呈现。
微观与宏观之间的相互关系在设计空间定义中起到了关键的作用。
从远处看装置,云浮颗粒团显示了多年以来塑料颗粒污染指数增长的震撼画面,一旦游客接近装置,他们可以发现和探索到塑料微粒的复杂性。
防水玻璃灯光装置垂直漂浮在水面上,并在夜间由微粒发出光亮。
每一组艺术装置内的微粒数据,都源自于他们所漂浮水域的提取信息。而模块化的漂浮基座,更是可以通过简单的连接拆组进行移动,并在不同的城市间旅行穿梭。
每一次拆装后,玻璃层压板都能被重新利用于建筑装饰中。
V10 design proposal was submitted to the “Plastic Monument” competition sponsored by National Geographic.
The relationship between “micro” and “macro” played a key role in the definition of the layout.
When seen from a distance, the cloud of particles gives an impactful image of plastic pollution exponential increase over the years. Once visitors get closer. they discover the complexity of microplastics.
Waterproof vertical lighting is integrated in the base of the installation. At night the particles glow in the dark, visible at all times.
The particles are floating just above water in an attempt to create a visual connection between microplastics and the water they are sampled from.
A modular sunken platform connects the panels together and allows for the installation to travel and be relocated in different cities.
Once dismantled the laminated glass panels could be reused for decorative purposes.
