Stucco is commonly known as Malay paint, which means the shoe mark after Mercedes-Benz. It is mainly composed of quartz sand. The binder and filler in its ingredients directly determine the performance and texture effect of stucco.

灰泥俗称马来漆，意为奔驰过后的蹄印，主要由石英砂组成，其配料中的黏结剂、填料则直接决定了灰泥的性能及肌理效果。

The history of human use of stucco can be traced back to the Paleolithic era, and the earliest application of it as a building material appeared in Italy, the Greek peninsula and other places.
