La Muralla Roja means "red wall" and was designed by architect Ricardo Bofilll in 1973.

La Muralla Roja意为"红墙"，由建筑师里卡多‧波菲于1973年设计完成。

Located in the coastal Spanish city of Calpe, the project is a large post-modern apartment complex.

项目坐落于西班牙海滨城市卡尔佩，是一个大型后现代公寓综合体。

The designers redefined the boundaries between private and public spaces by creating a circular semi-open walkway with a series of interlocking staircases, terraces and Bridges.

设计师以一系列互锁的楼梯、平台和连桥构建出一个循环往复的半开放式步道，重新定义私人与公共空间之间的界线。

Inspired by the casbah mountain city in the north African country, the building looks like a fortress on the cliffs of the coast.

建筑灵感来自于北非国家的卡斯巴哈山城，外形参照地中海阿拉伯建筑形式，仿佛是矗立于海岸峭壁上的一座堡垒。

The structure of the project is based on the Greek cross as the foundation of the geometric layout. The "cross" arm is five meters long and the intersecting lines are integrated into the building.

项目结构以希腊十字架为几何平面布局中的基础，"十字"臂长五米，交叉线条融于建筑之中。

A three-story tower on the outside encloses up to 50 apartments within the building, with red as the main color, contrasting the facade with its natural surroundings.

外侧围合的三层塔楼囊括建筑内部多达50个公寓单位，以红色为主要色调，立面鲜明的色彩与自然环境形成对比。

Pink, light red and brick red appear in the building. The "red" of different colors, in coordination with the scattered walls, presents a strong color hierarchy and visual impact.

粉红、淡红和砖红出现在建筑之中，不同色调的"红"配合错落有致的外墙，呈现出强烈色彩层次与视觉冲击。

Blue is widely used in the interior of the building, and different shades are used to connect with the sea and sky by the change of height difference inside and outside, creating an intimate relationship with nature.

建筑内部大面积使用蓝色，不同深浅色调借由高差内外变化与海天相接，创造与自然的亲昵关系。

The gradient of the circular staircase takes the climate as a reference. The sky blue, indigo blue and blue-purple exist in different elements in contrast with the sky and the sea. Visual continuity is realized.

回圈形楼梯的渐变色以气候为参考，天蓝、靛蓝、蓝紫色，不同元素对照天空海面而存在，视觉连续性得以实现。

The roof of the building is designed as a cross-shaped pool, which also exists as the center of the building.

建筑顶部设计为一个十字架形状的泳池，同时作为建筑中心而存在。

The solid outline outlined by the straight line intersects seamlessly with nature, and the bold use of color emphasizes the architectural expression of pure type.

直线勾勒出的立体轮廓与自然无缝相交，色彩的大胆使用强调纯粹式的建筑表达。

Taller DE Arquitectura architects commented on it as "a theoretical representation of the relationship between geometric foundations and constructivism in plane layout".

Taller de Arquitectura建筑师事务所将其评论为"平面布局中几何基础与构成主义关系的理论再现"。

The shape of La Muralla Roja is like a labyrinth of different dimensions, which is regarded as a modern interpretation of the typical north African castle circulation route, and at the same time provides a thinking space for the cognition of the relationship of modern urban life.

La Muralla Roja犹如异次元迷宫的形态，被看作是对典型北非城堡循环路线的现代化诠释，同时为现代城市生活关系的认知提供了思考空间。
