The Fondation Louis Vuitton is a private modern and contemporary art center and museum in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, designed by American architect Frank O. Gehry.

路易威登基金会艺术中心位于巴黎的布洛涅森林公园，是一个私人现当代艺术中心和博物馆，由美国建筑师弗兰克·盖里设计。

Inspired by the traditional glass and steel greenhouse architecture of the 19th century, the original white paper sketches gradually evolved into a form with the element of "white translucent clouds".

设计灵感来源于19世纪传统的玻璃和钢铁温室建筑，最初白纸上的草图逐渐演变为带有“白半透明云朵”元素的建筑形态。

"In order to reflect a changing world, we wanted to design a building that changes with time and light to create an intangible and changing impression."

“为了反映一个不断变化的世界，我们想要设计一个随着时间和光线变化的建筑，以创造一种无形性和不断变化的印象。”

Located at the edge of the water garden, the Fondation Louis Vuitton consists of 12 large "sail" shaped glass poles that cover the interior "iceberg" core and cover an area of 13,500 square meters.

艺术中心坐落于水上花园边缘处，12块巨大“帆”形玻璃构成建筑主体，包裹着内部的“冰山”核心，总体面积达到 13500 平米。

The "sail" form consists of 3600 curved glass panels, giving the art center a sense of transparency and rhythm.

“风帆”形态由3600块弯曲玻璃面板组成，赋予艺术中心透明性和律动感。

With the help of light, the forest garden around the building "appears" above the glass of water, presenting a unique visual effect and changing over time.

在光线的作用下，建筑周围的树林花园“显现”于玻璃或水面之上，呈现出独特的视觉效果，并随时间不断变化。

The "iceberg" inside is actually an exhibition space with a facade made of 19,000 white high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete.

被“包裹”的内部“冰山”实际上是一个展览空间，立面材料由19000白色高性能纤维增强混凝土构成。

The protruding white block and the curved glass give the architectural appearance the characteristic of combining the real and the virtual, and the visual diversity enriches the sense of architectural layers.

凸出的白色块体与弧形玻璃赋予建筑外观虚实结合的特质，视觉的多样性丰富了建筑层次感。

In addition to the metal frame, Gehry boldly used wooden beams as the main support, creating a dialogue between technology and aesthetics through the use of material compatibility.

除金属框架之外，盖里还大胆性地将木梁作为主要支撑，通过材质兼容性运用创造了一场技术与美学的对话。

The ground floor hall also functions as an entrance to the museum and garden, becoming an active social space.

底层大厅同时作为博物馆与花园的入口存在，成为一个活跃的社交空间。

In the process of moving the gallery, the large garden landscape comes into view through the glass, and the perception of nature is integrated into the visiting experience.

游客在画廊移动的过程中，大面积花园景观经过通过玻璃进入视线，对自然的感知融入参观体验中。

The exterior staircase, under the glass "sail", leads to the roof terrace and offers panoramic views of the Bois de Boulogne.

玻璃“帆”下面的外部楼梯，可直达屋顶平台，整个布洛涅森林公园景色尽收眼底。

Gehry designed the roof as a glass structure to allow the building to collect and reuse rainwater while also enhancing its geothermal energy.

盖里将顶部设计为玻璃结构，以允许建筑收集和再利用雨水，同时提高其地热能源。

The Fondation Louis Vuitton has 11 galleries, permanent collections, temporary exhibitions and galleries for works of art, a 350-seat auditorium, and an adjustable studio for multi-science events.

路易威登基金会艺术中心内部设有11个画廊、永久收藏、临时展览和艺术作品展厅，可容纳350人的礼堂，以及可承办多科学活动的可调式演播厅。

Frank O. Gehry "designed a magnificent ship" in Paris, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton became the core gathering place for French and even global contemporary art activities in Paris, becoming an iconic building "symbolizing the mission of French culture".

弗兰克·盖里在巴黎“设计了一艘宏伟的船”，路易威登基金会艺术中心成为法国甚至全球当代艺术活动在巴黎的核心聚集地，成为“象征法国文化使命”的标志性建筑。
