The Qatar National Convention Centre officially opened on December 4, 2011, and is one of the most advanced conventions and exhibition centers ever built.

The building was designed by Japanese architect Izaki shin. The design concept originated from the concept of sustainability and ultimately achieved efficient operation through innovations such as water-saving and energy-saving equipment.

该建筑由日本建筑师矶崎新所设计，设计理念源于对可持续性的构想，并最终通过节水和节能设备等创新实现高效运行。

The tree-like shape of the facade is a prominent expression of its design inspiration. The tall shape is intertwined with branches, and the majestic alcove structure is like a pair of palms holding the outer canopy, which is very spectacular.

外立面的树状造型是对其设计灵感的突出表现，高大的造型如树枝交织，雄伟的壁龛形结构似一双托举着外部天蓬的手掌，十分壮观。

The architect was based on Sidra Mutahha, a sacred Islamic tree, while Sidra is traditionally a shelter from the wind and rain in the desert.

建筑师以西德拉·穆塔哈为设计灵感，这是一种神圣的伊斯兰树木，而西德拉在传统意义上是一个在沙漠中避风避雨的地方。

This tree is a beacon for learning and rest in the desert, and in the modern view of Isozaki, this building has become a paradise for poets and scholars to gather and share knowledge under the branches.

这棵树是在沙漠中可供学习与休息的灯塔，而在矶崎新看来，这座建筑便成为树枝下诗人和学者们聚集分享知识的天堂。

The central hall is guarded by the world-famous spider sculpture "Maman", created by Louise Bourgioia, and presented by the Qatar Museums Authority.

中央大厅由世界著名的蜘蛛雕塑“马曼”把守，由路易丝·布尔乔亚创作，卡塔尔博物馆管理局赠送。

The ceiling grid of the exhibition space allows quick adjustment of configuration operations, and the controllable skylights provide daylight and power outages as needed.

展览空间的天花板网格允许快速调整的配置操作，可控天窗可根据需要提供日光与断电状态。

The touch screen technology and the design of the light rail station directly connected to the interior of the building make the building of a non-traditional, barrier-free event space.

触摸屏技术、以及轻轨站直接接入大楼内部的设计，令这座建筑成为了一个非传统性的、无障碍的活动空间。

The building is situated inside the Qatar Foundation campus. It is under a 4,000-seat theater-style conference hall with 40,000 square meters of exhibition space and can accommodate 10,000 people to attend a conference or banquet. 

建筑位于卡塔尔基金会的校园内部，设有一个4000个座位剧场式会议厅，拥有40000平方米的展览空间，可容纳10000人参加会议或宴会。而礼堂和52个灵活会议室的设置，可保证同时应对各类活动。

The setting of the auditorium and 52 flexible meeting rooms can guarantee respond to various activities at the same time.
